Decking the Halls - Metallic Colors on My Tree

We've been decking the halls here at the Lunt home
in celebration of this wonderful season.

I've always wanted to decorate a Christmas tree in
Metallic Colors.
This year I changed my dressy tree color scheme to
include bronze, gold, silver & pewter.

Some of the items for the tree were actually purchased
from the fall clearance merchandise - like the bronze-y garland.

The table is also set . . .
Aren't these Pottery Barn napkins the "bee's knees"?
I got them on clearance after Christmas last year.

How about you?
How are your decorations coming along?

  1. Your decorations are just lovely!

I'm still not finished~ but the tree is up! We went with red & chocolate brown again this year. We also bought a new, skinnier tree, which I am loving!

    1. What a fun & unique color scheme Valerie. I love nontraditional decor. Make sure to post pictures on your blog - we want to see! One of our trees is skinny too & I agree - they're awesome.

  3. I've got serious tree envy. I just couldn't get my tree(s) to work with me this year. I don't think I fluffed them up enough. They look horrible... I'm just going to pretend that yours are in my living room. xoxo

    1. Good for you, Linda. Thanksgiving is sacred at our house, so I'm not "allowed" to put Christmas up until Hunny's favorite holiday is over. It's my pleasure to be following you as well on Google+! Thanks for stopping by & leaving a comment.
