I GAVE BIRTH TO A PROJECT! A Colorful Gallery Wall

Pin It!
Because of a busy summer,
I've been chipping away at a gallery wall
for months.
I'm so happy it's now complete!

This grouping is in my guest room.
My inspiration was this beautiful antique quilt -
handmade from flour sacks
by my Aunt Evalee.
The bright palette was inspired by this
colorful quilt which I think of as a work of art.

I collect old keys &
I painted two of them to put in the grouping . . .
This darling artwork featuring my dog, "Sam"
{well, his breed at least!} was purchased online at The Foundary.
It looks just like him!

CLICK HERE to see how I made the
striped artwork for free.

The "Hello Sunshine" sign
was also free. We made them last year at SNAP.
Most of the frames are from the thrift store.
They were all sprayed with
Rust-oleum "Heirloom White" satin paint.

Isn't this rooster poster great?
I just took a picture of the real poster
& enlarged it at Walgreens.
{Again, the frame was $4 at the thrift store.}
Isn't this a sweet quote from Helen Keller?
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."
{Also a freebee from SNAP in a thrift store frame.}
So now I have officially banned myself from
creating any more gallery wall groupings
in my home.
{I have more than one, but I'm not telling how many!}

    1. Hello Tara, I wish you lived nearby because the next best thing to creating a gallery wall in my own home is doing one in someone else's! I do have a "Tips on hanging groupings" post on my sidebar. Hope it helps. Always great to hear from you.

    1. Thanks for your comment, Comeca. The table was a road-side rescue! {Can you believe the stuff people throw out?!} I cleaned it up & painted it. I love the fan also - not only is it so cute, it works great & it's so quiet. Restoration Hardware still sells them.
