A Great Recipe for Those Fresh Garden Tomatoes

Oh my goodness,
I am SO ENJOYING our garden tomatoes
this year.
{By the way, I use a product called "Wall of Water" when I plant my tomatoes -
which allows me to plant early & protects from frosts. So I've had tomatoes since early July.}

Here's one of my favorite recipes
to make with those delicious tomatoes.
AND it's SO-O-O quick and easy!

Pasta with Fresh Tomato Sauce
  • 12 oz. linguine
  • 1 1/2 lbs tomatoes quartered
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil - fresh is a must!
  • salt to taste
  • fresh ground pepper to taste
  • garlic (I don't always add this - if I do I use the kind in the jar)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (for topping)
Cook & drain pasta. Meanwhile, place the rest of the ingredients (except the parmesan cheese) in a food processor and pulse. The tomato sauce is served raw! Just pour it over the warm, cooked pasta - top with parmesan cheese & serve.
{Recipe from Real Simple
It tastes so fresh & delicious. Enjoy!
