Halloween Decor - The Entry Way

Pin It!
If this apothecary vignette looks familiar,
it's very similar to what I did in my entry in past years.
I just added a few new bottles
& let the owl out of his cage for this Halloween.
Almost all of these bottles were purchased
from the thrift store for next-to-nothing.

My close, personal friend Martha Stewart
{JK - but I didn't have you fooled anyway, did I?}
has a new line of creepy labels at Michael's Crafts.
FROG SYRUP ANYONE?!?
The funky hurricane was also from the thrift store.
It is the perfect perch for eerie Halloween birds.

Again, I used my flickering,
battery-powered
self-timer
candle from Costco.
I'm tellin' ya they're the best thing since
sliced bread!

The next best thing to having your own Cricut machine,
is have a friend with one!
{Thanks, Janine, for making my Oct 31st vinyl for the mirror!}
The book page rosettes were made for
book club decorations {click here to learn more},
but they lend themselves to that
"Halloween library look" too,
so I like them with this grouping.

  1. Fun ! Truth be told, I've never been a huge fan of Halloween - it kind of creeps me out, but I LOVE seeing what others have done in their homes and yours is one of the nicest I've seen so far this season !

    thanks for sharing !

  3. That is the cutest thing! I've never seen anything like it. I love old bottles, even when it's not Halloween and those book page rosettes work perfectly.

  10. Loved it last year, love the updates THIS year! I've been such a bad blogger the past few months... the kids are back at school, so that should give me MORE time, right? Well, it hasn't! I'm totally gonna blame Pinterest. I've joining your linky party for sure next week... that should give me some inspiration! xoxox jules
