Real Homes for Real People - Southern Charm

For today's home tour,
I'm sharing a bit of my brother & sis-in-law's charming house.

Lynn is waiting to show you around,
so come on in!

Lynn is a designer & she decorated it herself.

She made this monogramed shower curtain with a drop cloth & these grommets . . .

Lynn designed these beautiful shutter doors above the fireplace to hide the TV.

I'm crazy about the architectural details like the ceiling in the kitchen. . .

I'm in love with these chairs in the kitchen. They're from Overstock.com!

Each bedroom is so cozy & beautiful . . .

I'm a designer as well, but my house is always a "work in progress".
I can't imagine having everything done at once!

My favorite thing about the house is the amazing veranda on the back . . .

Lynn & James also designed, planned, & built their whole subdivision - even the landscaping!
Here are some of the other beautiful homes on their street . . .

We stayed in my brother's home &
as you can see, we were blessed to be guests in such a pretty place.
But I have to say, the Southern Hospitality is what made us feel so welcome & comfortable.
Thank you, James & Lynn!

  6. Saw your link on Sugar & Dots and thought I'd visit. I'm so far from having everything done at once, this is an inspiration! And I could definitely lose a couple of hours curled up with a good book on that veranda. Gorgeous!
