Hawaiian Cake - A Refreshing Treat You'll Love

This cake is different & refreshing. It is served cold & it actually tastes better if made as a sheet cake in a 9x13 pan {I made it as a layer cake so it would look prettier for the photos, but I didn't like it as much}. Try it next time you want to serve something out of the ordinary.

Hawaiian Cake
- Shared on honeyimhomeblog.com -
  • 1 pkg white cake mix
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large {5 oz.} package instant vanilla pudding
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 - 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 cups whipping cream, whipped
  • sugar or powdered sugar to sweeten whipping cream
  • shredded coconut
  • chopped walnuts
Bake cake mix according to instructions in a greased 9x13 pan. {I don't recommend making it as a layer cake. It's just not as good!} Cool. Mix pudding mix, cream cheese & milk. Quickly spread mixture on cake. Next, spread on a layer of crushed pineapple. Then, spread with the sweetened whipping cream. Top with coconut & chopped nuts. Cover & refrigerate. Serve cold.
