Thanksgiving in Deer Valley

We just got back from a
Wonderful Thanksgiving in Deer Valley.
I wanted to share some of our memories with you!

Perhaps you remember this post
{from way back in September} about my plans for
our Thanksgiving table which included these colors . . .
I really loved using the turquoise thrown in with the traditional orange for our table decor.
It was difficult to find a placemat that I felt was just right,
so I used wrapping paper & cut it to the desired size.
This is a little trick I often use & it works as a table runner too!

Another good technique to decorate your table -
hang things from the lighting.
These painted pine cones hung with ribbon from the chandelier
for our turquoise & orange table . . .

We rented a cabin in Deer Valley for our Lunt Family
to gather in & it was so great.
Would you like to see some photos?

We had room for everyone & the pool table was great fun.
Have you ever played "K-R-U-D"?

Hope your Thanksgiving was great too!
{PS - Notice Jeff's mustache for the month of "MOVember"!}

  1. Beautiful family. Beautiful table. I've been keeping my eye out for those colors lately because my daughter wants to redo her room with turquoise and coral.

  3. Oh that cabin! How much FUN. I love the colors you chose. The wrapping paper idea is AWESOME. I cover my table with that a lot (probably learned it from you!) but I never thought of cutting it down. You always do a great job of thinking outside of the box. Have a wonderful Christmas season! xoxo

  4. What a fun color combination for thanksgiving dinner...!! Your decorations are always so lovely.
Now how fun is that to rent a cabin and all be together. My family is thinking about trying to do that in Moab one spring. My husband has never been there.
    Good mustache !!
