Happy Thanksgiving AND Black Friday Shopping!

Pin It!
I am hosting Thanksgiving this year
for our wonderful Lunt family & I am so excited to
set the table & feed everyone.
{Of course, I'll take pics & share with you.}
As I'm sure you can relate, I've been busy-busy-busy
with preparations.

When you're out Black Friday shopping,
keep your peepers peeled for these
uh . . . unique finds.

For one thing, moon boots are back!
What??? Here's a photo of the ones I found
{they will set you back $100}, who they remind me of,
& a vintage pair that was worn by my generation . . .
And even though this hat is a little
crazy, I'll admit I love it!
Finally, I remember seeing a fashion show
where the models couldn't actually walk in the shoes.
{Inconvenient!}
I'm afraid that is what would happen
if this grandma tried to walk in these babies . . .
The fashion show went a little something like this . . .

  1. Awww, man! Now I'm totally bummed I didn't save my moon boots from the 80's! So hip!

  2. Moon boots? Too funny the things that are coming back in fashion. The shoes would hurt anybody's feet AND back! Ouch! Happy Thanksgiving and have fun creating authentically a bountiful day with your family!

    1. Thank you for stopping by & leaving your sweet comment, Sue. I know, who would have thought you could find moon boots at Nordstrom?!

  3. I was shocked, then smirked a bit at the model. Is that mean? Surely she was able to practice in the shoes, no?

    1. Thank you for your comment, Ann Marie {by the way that's my middle name!} the video is shocking! But it actually happens a lot! Those poor girls are made to "walk" in ridiculous shoes. Some day when you've got lots of spare time, search "models falling in shoes" on You Tube. ;D
