Thanksgiving Inspiration

Pin It!

Thanksgiving is coming up soon! If you need a little inspiration, here's an overview of some of the decorations, tablescapes & even a "Friendsgiving" I've done in the past . . . {Please click the blue bar below for more}

One year we rented a house in Deer Valley, Utah & invited our extended family. I decorated the table in orange & turquoise. The "placemats" pictured below are actually just wrapping paper. More pictures here.
One year I thoroughly enjoyed hosting a "Friendsgiving". You can see more about it here
This post has a great recipe for an apple spice cake that is sure to be a hit!
Traditional colors are vibrant & beautiful. I have often used them. And I have more fake pumpkins than places to store them! All the pumpkins pictured here are faux. And I can never resist a pretty wreath.
But more often than not, I've used colors other than oranges. I adore neutrals & white pumpkins!

Here's a post about the year when I used light blue green & white pumpkins together on the mantle.

One year, I waited too late in the season & there were no real white pumpkins to be found in the stores, so I spray painted my own & used them as place cards.
I hope this has sparked your creativity as you plan for our favorite holiday! Happy Thanksgiving!
