A Masculine Garden Party Baby Shower

The content for this post was provided by my fabulous friend & contributor Sara Jane. CLICK HERE if you missed her introduction.

When Sara Jane's friend gave birth to a sweet baby boy, a celebration was in order!

Sara's inspiration got it's start when she saw some some toy animals painted gold on Pinterest. These zoo animals were purchased from the dollar store also. There was a hole in the animals, so Sara painted some straws as well & used them as place cards. Don't you love them?
Succulents added texture & greenery while contributing to the masculine theme.

The striped table runner was specially sewn with fabric from JoAnn's Fabric. One of Sara's secrets for a fabulous party is to start with what she has & then borrow from friends. {Of course, she shares her goodies too when it's their turn to host!} Yours truly had the chair covers & sashes on hand.  I thought they looked so great with the decor!
The shower was a brunch, so Sara served waffles & all the fixings. It was a wonderful party. Great job Sara!
